Sponsor Campaigns

Use this when your team sells direct sponsorships on your own inventory. Campaign setup is for ad ops; creative specifications can be handed to your designer or sponsor's creative team.

Campaign Setup

What we need from you to configure and run your sponsor banner campaigns.

Summary - what to send us
  • Campaign details (name, objective, dates)
  • Targeting (geo, devices, language)
  • Delivery goals (impressions + pacing)
  • Share of voice vs programmatic and other sponsors
  • Frequency caps & exclusions (optional)
  • Creatives + landing URLs (see Creative Specifications below)

Campaign details

  • Campaign name - e.g. Brand X - 2026 Q1 Sponsorship
  • Objective (optional) - awareness / traffic / product launch
  • Start date - YYYY-MM-DD or "ASAP"
  • End date - YYYY-MM-DD, "until further notice", or an impression goal. If not specified, the campaign runs until you ask us to stop.

Targeting Optional

Geography

Which locations should see your ads? Countries and, if needed, regions/cities. Examples: "Portugal only", "Portugal + Spain", "Europe (excluding UK)".

Devices

Desktop, Mobile, Tablet - or any combination. Default: all devices.

Browser language

Examples: "Portuguese only (pt-PT + pt-BR)", "Portuguese and English", "All languages".

Delivery goals Optional

Impression goals

  • Total / lifetime impressions - e.g. 1,000,000 impressions total
  • Maximum daily impressions - e.g. up to 50,000 per day

Pacing

  • Even delivery - spread evenly across the flight (default)
  • As fast as possible - use inventory as quickly as available

Share of voice

Sponsors vs programmatic

For the placements where sponsors run, indicate the share - e.g. "Sponsors 70%, programmatic 30%" or "Sponsors 100% during this period".

Between multiple sponsors

If more than one sponsor runs simultaneously - e.g. "Sponsor A 60%, Sponsor B 40%", "Equal share", or "Brand X exclusive during these dates". Default: equal share, remaining inventory filled with programmatic.

Frequency caps Optional

To avoid overexposing users, you can define a cap. Examples:

  • Max 3 impressions per user per day
  • Max 10 impressions per user per campaign
  • No cap (not recommended for long-running campaigns)

If not specified, we apply a reasonable default cap based on inventory and campaign length.

Creative Specifications

Technical and design requirements for sponsor banner creatives used on the BRNDTS platform.

Ad sizes

Deliver creatives at standard IAB display sizes. For best coverage across desktop, tablet, and mobile, produce at minimum the recommended set below - BRNDTS picks which one to render per viewer, so gaps in your set mean missed delivery.

SizeName

These cover the most common placements. To maximise reach you can also deliver any of the other supported IAB sizes.

File formats & weight

  • Static: JPG, PNG
  • Animated: GIF (simple animations only)
  • Max file size: 150 KB per creative (all formats)
  • Color: RGB  |  Resolution: 72 DPI

Please deliver one file per size. If you have A/B variants, label them clearly: e.g. brand_300x250_A.jpg, brand_300x250_B.jpg.

Click-through URLs

For each creative, provide:

  • Size - e.g. 300×250
  • File name - e.g. brand_300x250_summer.jpg
  • Landing URL - e.g. https://example.com/campaign?utm_source=brndts

Use your own UTM parameters for campaign tracking. All URLs must be HTTPS.

Animation rules GIF only

  • Maximum duration: 15 seconds total
  • Maximum loops: 3, then stop on a final frame
  • No audio in banner creatives
  • Avoid excessive flashing, strobing, or very fast frame changes

Static creatives (JPG/PNG) are perfectly acceptable and often preferred.

Design guidelines

Layout & readability

  • Keep logo, main text, and CTA away from edges - suggested safe margin: 10–15 px
  • Use high contrast between text and background
  • Avoid cramming too much text into small formats

Copy & messaging

  • Aim for: 1 main headline, 1 short supporting line (optional), 1 clear CTA (e.g. "Learn more", "Subscribe now")
  • Minimum font size: ~12–14 px for body text; larger for headlines
  • Legal/disclaimer text should be very short - detailed terms go on the landing page

Branding

  • Show your logo clearly without overwhelming the creative
  • Use brand colours and fonts consistently

No misleading elements

Creatives must not:

  • Imitate system notifications, OS dialogs, or antivirus alerts
  • Mimic the website's player controls (play/pause/close) in a deceptive way
  • Use fake "X" close buttons that don't behave as expected

Content policy

We cannot accept creatives that contain:

  • Illegal, hateful, or discriminatory content
  • Explicit adult or sexual content
  • Promotion of illegal drugs or activities
  • Misleading or false claims
  • Offensive or shocking imagery
Regulated categories
  • If your product is in a regulated category (alcohol, finance, health, gambling), inform us before submitting. We'll review and confirm compliance before launch.

Delivery checklist

Before sending creatives, confirm:

  • All sizes are within the supported list
  • Files are JPG/PNG/GIF, max 150 KB each
  • Animated GIFs follow the animation rules
  • Each file has a clear name (brand + size + version)
  • You've provided one HTTPS landing URL per creative
  • Content complies with the policy restrictions

You can send all files and a list of sizes + URLs in a single ZIP file or a shared folder link.
